Viewing many Cyrix CPUs on cpu collection sites, I always see the heatsink green. In my Leading Edge Fortiva 5000 purchased in 1995 (still running strong) it is red. I used to think nothing of it, but until I started looking, all I saw was green. Anyone have any insight? I will take a pic of it if need be, but I have to dismantle the beast first. Thanks Very Happy [/b]

Well, turns out it is green after all. It has been awhile since I have opened it up again, and for some reason I always thought it was red (for years!!). I always thought I had a gem in there for my collection. Guess not. Sorry for any hype that I may have created, and sorry for wasting a thread. Good day!!!!!
