I'm still trying to figure out really, just about anything about the anchient general electric boards I found at the scrap yard. Here are some closeups of the chips. several of the plastic (although they do not look like the same plastic used on p8086's) IC's look like they have datecodes in the late 1960's is this possible? Also, they almost look like bakelite plastic. Is this possible? These chips look like memory. and are interesting in that they appear to have been all individualy hand tested before being put on the board (board also bears qc stamps.) What are your thoughts on this board?

Unfortunately they are gone Crying or Very sad Just last week the scrapyard found a buyer for all the old chips I had not taken and cleared everything out. Apparently they settled for a meer $2.50 per pound on the boards. They did get a much better $38 per pound on the loose chips though. I had attempted to buy the boards for more scratch then that but they wern't interested in selling then, only trading for greater gold content which meant alot of chips since mine is the smallest board of the lot. It's a real bummer as the boards were really neat if you ask me.

Sorry.
