I bought a gateway from a pawn shop for cheap awhile back and the Intel AA C45431-104 went out in it. I think it had a 2.3 intel processor in it (its been quite awhile)

Anyway, I've tried searching for it with little assurance to what it is exactly. I mainly just need to know what chip set it is (I think 478?)
If anyone knows or has a site where i can find out (or both)
I'd appreciate it Smile

Just looking for reassurance so i don't have to waste the time when i order a new board.

While I'm at it... If my ram slots can handle up to 400mhz and i put 500mhz in it (1GB DDR overclockers) what kind of problems should i look forward too? Shocked

DDR that runs at higher clock speeds, will clock fine at lower clockspeeds. You should have no problems.
