I have everything ready for the move to new server. I'm going to redirect cpu-world.com domain to new server in the next our or so. After that it may take up to three days for the change to propagate. Forums should not be affected by this as they both now point to database on the old server. I also synced avatars and images uploaded to the forum, and will do it again tomorrow. Tomorrow from noon to 2pm I'll put the forum into manteinance mode, copy forum database to new server and redirect old server to use database on the new server. Estimated forum downtime will be 20 - 30 minutes.

I'll try to make downtime as short as possible. Forum may feel slower than usually - this is because you may be logged into the forum on one server, and the forum will be getting data from another server hosted by different company.

chiptalk: I'll send you login information for your forum tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I don't have control over DNS servers, except mine. I had the same DNS problems yesterday evening.

LOL I know, but I figured I'd mention it as a reminder of how much I appreciate the forums/site.

Hmm, I had only about 5 minutes downtime for the forum, when I got a message from the server to say it was temporarily not available Smile I guess the worst of it must have been when I was away for a few hours Smile

ipconfig /flushdns? XP has a habbit of chaching DNS replies.
