Looks like an ABR that's had the B badly altered. It's the first PR133ABR I've seen with revision C (and the datecode falls between some revision B with earlier and later datecodes).

I've never seen any references to K5 133 3.3V. At the same time I don't think it's a fake. Overclocking the processor and marking it with lower core voltage doesn't make any sense.

I wouldn't see fake with higher voltage than standard 3.52V Wink In this class mobile had 2,9V and lower. Maybe it was best part from production with done stabil tests ?

According to the K5 datasheet, the I/O voltage can be 3.38 or 3.52 Volts, and the core can be either 2.50, 2.70, 2.93, 3.38 or 3.52 Volts.

My guess is that there could have been a 133AFR, but that it was a special order and as such not specifically documented (the docs that I have only indicate operating voltage codes of B, C, H, J and K, with F not being in the docs. It also gives some example OPNs, with nothing to indicate if the part numbers were actually used...).

Also, the docs indicate that revision E is model 0, and revision B is model 1. The docs I have don't mention Revision C (or any others) or Model 2 and 3 (which I believe to exist, based on info I have from many sources for CPUID code...). If anyone has docs other than 18766.pdf, 20092.pdf, 21062.pdf, I would appreciate copies Smile

I didn't look at K5 datasheet yesterday when I posted. I looked at it today, and 'F' core voltage is indeed mentioned there in identification table in ordering information section. It's not mentioned in a "Valid combinations table" though. I would agree with Debs - it was probably a special order.

My K5 datasheet is publication #18522F. I uploaded it to my server:

http://www.cpu-world.com/pdf/AMD-K5.pdf

Debs, what's in 18766.pdf?

Oops, I didn't notice until I saw your reply - it should say 19766.pdf. The title page says:

AMD-K5™
PROCESSOR
Support for the AMD-K5
Dual Voltage Processor
Application Note

It covers Model 0 and Model 1, although IMO it is not as complete as it could have been. It is only 24 pages, but it does have some info that is not in the later and larger document that you uploaded, which has a lot of info not in the docs I have.

Thanks for uploading the file, I've just added it to my document set Smile

19766.pdf can now be found here

For 20092 and 21062, the revisions are not mentioned: I have 20092b and 21062e.

In addition to the docs mentioned here, I have the following ones that contain K5-related info, although I didn't find anything related to your question:

081401.pdf Microprocessor Report: AMD's K5 Designed to Outrun Pentium
18524c.pdf AMD-K5 Processor Technical Reference Manual
20007e.pdf AMD-K5® Processor Software Development Guide
20734t.pdf AMD Processor Recognition Application Note
21035b.pdf AMD Processor Recognition Code Sample

Send a message if you need something.

I found this manual:
www.acrosser.com/download/Quick%20manual/1579V141.PDF

This mentions the K5 AFR cpus at the setting of AMD cpus. So it seems true.
