Hey guys.
My dad has a laptop (patriot 3070).
"pcservicecall.co.uk/layout.aspx?ID={dfd7f6ef-7064-49d2-b317-4f4e25b65808}&CatID={fe2d3c68-2efc-4083-a3ef-ea6e5a0d2558}"
I was going to buy him a AMD athlon 2.4 CPU to put in it.....will this work? I know very little about PCs / laptops
Very sorry for the very simple question.
Thanks in advance

Your link not work.
Don't be mad but if you know little about laptops then changing CPU can be very difficult for you. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Is it possible to fit aCPU that would fit in a desktop motherboard into a laptop motherboard?
Thanks in advance |

You can use only mobile versions to fit into laptop. In most case you can fit all mobiles in desktop. Athlon XP mobile is marked as XP-M _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
