Has anyone heard of a 479 intel m chip or is the celeron m 370 a type 478.
If this carrier is a 478 and miss read buy the program ... could i slot in an old p4 1.9 m 478 chip in its place

Celeron M has 478 pins, but it's not compatible with 478-pin Pentium 4 processors. Pentium 4 won't fit into the socket in your laptop. It is posible that the laptop doesn't even have a socket, and Celeron M is just soldered on the board.
