That's the sort of board I hope to get my hands on when my local scrapyard soften enough to let me go through more than just the CPU scrap bins (boards get boxed and sealed almost immediately after processors are extracted, and nothing else is ever extracted...). Great find Smile

LOL, it would be great if there was a scrapyard that has enough decent chips to manage a regular group buy out of it Smile I'm trying to persuade the local scapper that he needs an unpaid worker to sort through everything before it goes to the refiner, I'm running out of ideas to try and get my hands on the goodies Sad

Nice, yes ! You know that's the problem...we keep hearing about Intel this and AMD that...But this is a very nice change for once, to see Alpha CPU's displayed !

Yep that`s why I`m collecting all classes
and manufacturers, only AMD and Intel
gets boring gradually....

Hey,
I think not much older than 10 years.
I`m not sure where it was taken from but
must have been a bigger machine of course...
most probably coming from DEC but also Cray and
others were using 21164-Alphas.
