I added three NexGen processors to my collection:

Hmm... the question is... how will you know the actual clock speed, if you don't have the mobo?!

I just used information readily available on the net, for example, this article in Byte magazine:

Hehe... yes, but for example Nexgen P90 is not = Nexgen P90. They vary in the clock speed even with the same P-rating. Thats why I'm confused with your MHz values. I think it's not possible to write exact Nexgen clock frequencies, if you don't have the mobo for each Nexgen CPU.

As far as I know it's not possible (even with a mobo) to know the speed of a nexgen if it's not marked on it. The only thing you can do if you get a mobo is to hope that the jumpers weren't changed and deduce the speed from the settings.
There is a place with XXXX markings on the chip, the speed should be there but it wasn't used as mtx500 (if I remember correctly) told on a cpu-museum.de post.

PS: The P100 with little heatspreader is a nice chip, most of them have big heatspreaders.

Are you sure about that? I think that 1 PR = 1 Clock speed. How could you setup your motherboard if it isn't the case?
