anyone know of a site for intel chip compatibility?

i have a 1.3ghz/256/488/1.7v SL4SF that i would like to upgrade. i'm hoping i can just find a site that tells me what the max intel chip i can upgrade to without changing the motherboard or socket. if anyone knows of such as site, could you refer me to it?

Go to a site of your motherboard vendor and look for your motherboard model. Your motherboard is not very old, so you should be able to find information on it. You'll probably find out that the fastest processor you can use is Pentium 4 2GHZ processor in 423-pin package (socket 423) - this is the fastest processor that was produced in this package.
