CS looks like it has been added some time after manufacture, maybe to increase value to collectors Wink Do you have some big pictures please?

CS is usually added after production, as they pull a part stamp it CS, and send it to the customer.

IF they want to add more value why not print ES Smile !!!!
its orginal printing by INTEL , also they reprinted the TEXT on that chip too

It's not done to add value, it's done to encourage a potential buyer to buy (ie marketing, they want you to try their product which they hope you will agree is worth the bucks they will charge for first purchase, a bit like a drug dealer giving samples to get you hooked...)

I'd be surprised if HP remarked C2102 is really a customer sample - I would be less surprised to hear that HP originally bought them to supply already fitted in equipment bought from them, rather than sending out samples and selling them separately. Of course, I don't know anything about HP's trading practices, so I could be way off mark there Smile
