yeah, I seen that before on another different chip with a double letter. I think it was AA. I'll dig it out later.

Blimey JAC, are you doing the rounds of all the UK scrap companies? You are coming up with a lot of nice chips!

I have my sources Smile to be honest, its not actually that much. Mostly a combination of who you know/what you know / timing / and a little cash / and the odd bribe. ( look at that nexgen evaluation motherboard as an example!!!! )

There were millions of MCU's made, so they are out there.. but I fear most of the good stuff is gone, "lost", and the real sad part is these older MCU's are scrapped as being worthless. I have pretty much exhausted my x86 collection.. still plenty of sspecs I dont have, and mostly will never have.. so I branched out a little into MCU's. I think they are kinda cool anyway.. .. EE memory acts as a nice limiter for the eprom style parts.. so a nice end point in collection. I find it also very useful to not collect everything.. I narrowed it right down.. leave me more cash for those rare parts on ebay ( ouch ) and more time for other things. I can also appreciate nice chips without having to feel like I want to own it. Chip addition self help Smile
