Well, I found some information on this chip, it's obviously not an FPU, it should be a Video Processor:
"Integrated Information Technology (IIT) has entered the video compression/decompression chip business with the most highly integrated, programmable, single-chip video processor yet announced. IIT is best known for its Intel-compatible math coprocessor chips, of which it claims to have shipped over 300,000 units since the company's founding in 1987.
The Vision Processor (VP) is optimized for implementing algorithms based on the discrete cosine transform (DCT). The processor consists of a custom RISC engine with an assortment of parallel computational resources, including sixteen 8-bit ALUS, four 16-bit multiply-accumulators, shifters for motion estimation, and multiple register files."
If anyone wants to have it, this chip is available. _________________ ..::morkork::..
