Exactly ... they are not cooperate with marketing rule "public relations". They lost because I plan to send them for free electronic scrap from my company and home (from auction's purchases). They normally paid for that almost 2 EUR per kilogram of motherboards. I sent them 36 old boards without jumpers, some missing sockets and BIOSes and it was worth 50 EUR.
Long time I didn't refreshed my collection site so many CPUs which waiting for update + many took from trip will take much time of work like Debbie last time
I must buy special tools for straightning pins and get job in my hand In two - max 3 weeks I will clean and sort all items (6 kgs - 13,23 lbs) and put big sale topic. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I use two retractable pencils without lead for that, like this one:
- there's no contact between the pins while straightning
- the pencils exits in different diameters
- very cheap and easy to use
BTW: here's a photo of my secret chip mine (about 1000 kilo already scanned chips)

Friends,
don't mix the topics! This is a thread about the open day at demotronic, not a general thread about chip mines... Where are the moderators? _________________ Frank. |

What a difference ... Demotronic is chip mine and we talk about similar companies. But no problem to cut and paste to separated topic.
I will try Borris's method. Very good tip _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Good method but very time costly !
But this the only method Iknow when there are too much badly bent pins.
You can also use cutters, with which you can put straight pins columns by columns... _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !

I was in shop and bought set of precision screwdriver. I modified one unit to strengthen pin at ground when second tool straightning pin from top. This is safe (pin will not be a broken) and easy method to straightning much bended pins like this one from a photo. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
