Heatsink looks like unmounted from newer motherboards (north bridge) and glued to Cyrix 586. I have mixed feelings _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I think that the Heat sink is fake, why Cyrix used a best graphics. _________________ Fatti non foste a viver come bruti, ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza.

Thanks for comments.
this is the side view.
the color and the print seems ok to me
however "c"yrix instead of "C"yrix make me consider it is a fake
all of my cyrix chips (from 287 to 6x86) have a big C . only this chip had a small c...

Looks to me like somebody changed the heatsink (it might be an OEM heatsink ???), so it may or may not be a Cyrix chip under it. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I think it's a Cyrix 5X86 QFP package CPU mounted on a PGA adapter and with a heatsink.
I guess it's a 100GP like the below one.

There is a cyrix not a Cyrix, so I don't think the heatsink is original. _________________ Yan |

That is exactly what it is. I removed the heat sink from the one I bought very easily with my finger.
