Athlon 64 4000+ is faster in games, and is comparable to or faster than Intel 4 541 for playback and TV recording. My only concern about AMD choice is that the socket 939 is dead, you won't have many options in the future when you decide to upgrade it.

AM3 and DDR3 in next year ? No way - I'm sure that will not be introduced so fast.
A few months ago AMD had introduced quad core CPUs and what we have ? Same with final version of Vista.
Market must "satiate" with DDR2 memory. Now we can only wait for better timings soon.
So go for AM2 if you wouldn't like to wait two or more years. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Ehhhh I see I said not understandable There was forecast about quad core AMD CPUs which were suspected to introduce in September/October 2006. We don't have specifications and any informations about them. That is next term without success. Talking is easy but be on time not

Holy words ! I hope it will be true _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum.
