hey ppeopls i hav removed my fan from the cpu and now my cpu runs at only 100mhz it should be 166

wheni try 166 it restarts by itself... help pleasE?

yeh i took it off and put a new one back on
it dosnt take more than 100mhz ever had this prob b4?

did you put thermal paste ?

no no thermal paste... its gotta bit of old thermal paste
u reckon thats the problem??

it can be the problem. If ther is not enough thermal paste, heat will not well conduct on the heatsink and the cpu will overheat.

You should put new thermal paste.
