If it has 479 pins then it's not Pentium 4-M. Can you post a picture of the back?

I have no idea. Production Pentium III-M and Pentium 4-M have copyright 2001, so this CPU may be an early version of one of those. Or maybe it's a mech-sample type chip.

DAISY

typically means a thermal/electrical sample.

many daisy chained power transistors meant to simulate the actual cores electrical load.

Looks like a P3-M...
Can ES also stand for Electrical Sample? Very Happy

a thermal or electrical sample IS a type of engineering sample Smile

Die size suggests P4-M

Intel only made PGA cpus in 478 pins that I am aware of (479 was for BGA chips)

but for a sample chip, having an extra pin is probably no problem
