I'd save especially the Motorola ROM from '74.
Can the 8704 be a 4K ROM? Then this too.
Putting all into a box for years is better than gold scrap, I guess. _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

Nope... 10-bit integrating ADC from Teledyne.
What makes you think the Motorola part is a ROM? It's house-numbered.

The Fairchild CCD460 is probably worth something... It's an early 16K (128x32x4) CCD memory, similar to the Intel 2416.

AD7570 and MP7570 are also 10-bit ADCs.
Nitron NC6571A is a 7x9 character generator ROM (eqv to Motorola MCM6571).

hm, you're right.
so my only answer can be "wishful thinking".
i like old roms as most of them get melted down.
i guess the most valuable chip in the far future will not be a cpu.
especially for that reason i'd keep all of those chips. you never know what will be interesting within the next twenty years. |

34C168 is a public key encryption processor... 34C169 = ??
After a quick Google search I think the 34C139 might be a gate array.

I also would hang on to them all, even without knowing what many of them are.
I'd especially like the Eproms, Am2911 and the Fairchild memory. Oh yeah, I like the Zilog Z6104 as well _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
