Intel's first EEPROM (the 2816) wasn't introduced until 1978. Or did you mean UV EPROM?

You need to register on the site, then you can upload pictures. I'd be surprised if anybody posts their email address in the forum (I'm personally getting excessive spam on an email address that has never been given to anyone I don't know reasonably well from either here or the programming community, so certainly wouldn't post it publicly...). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

hmmm...looks like gold paint smudges ...I'd put arrows to their locations, but I guess the bmp extension can't be copied....borring !
Not saying it's fake....just curious.

Hi everebody,
First excuse my very bad english !
Next, some informations about that chip.
I get it since many many years, around 1982.
I picked up on a printer mother board prototype realised by wrapping.
One pin ( number 13) was broken and connected to the mother board circuit with small solded cable.
A friend of mine working at the LOGABAX company ( a french printer builder around 1975-1985 ) gave it to me.
So I guess that LX2839 mean LOGABAX2839 chip.
Below 2 more pictures on it.
As you can see, on the other side the chip has been manufactured in Malaysia and 7723 is indicated instead of 7743 !!! |

Aaaah Yes I see the missing pin now !!!
very sad
Ya, the only reason I questioned the gold, is because the cap is not the same gold as the pins nor the strap ! tis all...
