HeyAll...
I just found out that GIGABYTE has a device called a RAMDISK.
I was wondering, since I haven't seen or even heard of one of these since the third party designers of the TI99/4a/Geneve computers , made these type of devices back in the late 80's/early 90's, if anyone has one of these GigaByte "GC-RAMDISK" ...ver. 1.X and how well they work.

Shocked

sincerely interested...

They are VERY fast, but the cost is a bit much and the capacity is too low. Also, they are only on the SATA 1.5GB connection, as opposed to the 3.0 speed connection. Unless you need solid state, the money is better spend on a RAID0 of a pair of 7200.10s Very Happy
