I have a Asus A7V266-E motherboard with an AMD processor running at 1400MHz.
I noticed on the board that the jumper for the "CPU Type Frequency" is set for the "Palomino processor".
I don't remember having the Palomino one. I thought I just had a regular Thunderbird proc.
How can I identify my exact proc ID since I have lost all my info a long time ago?
Is the jumper OK where it is if I don't have the Palomino proc, or should I change over the jumper setting.
I read the Asus info saying that the board needs to be on the Palomino setting if it is one. But is it OK there for regular TB procs too? |

I know the ID is on the proc, but I wasn't interested in removing the fan, passive cooler and thermal paste to check the info...
I didn't know about CpuID
Thanks Mixeur |
