I'm searching for cpu-z like software for Linux. Is there any similar tool for Linux (cpu and system information)? Exept % cat /proc/cpuinfo

in command line you have:
hwinfo, lshw , lshw --short, lspci (for a long description of computer like chipset and processor)
x86info and cat /proc/cpuinfo

You can also simply use wine under linux for using cpuz.
