Did thei notebook have a CPU in it? or is this the CPU, cause the package looks distinctively like the connector used in TCP CPU's for laptops. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I saw it for sale before on one of Chinese or Taiwanese auction sites. It was described as a mobile Pentium processor.

Parts in the upper right of the chip are a power supply (coil etc.) _________________ Frank. |

Very nice chip!
Yes, the connector looks like the one in some TCP packages. Could this be a Pentium die packaged by Fujitsu?
I think it's definitely a CPU, because if it came from a laptop, what other chip in a laptop would could have this package, with that style of connector with lots of pins, voltage regulator, etc. |

That is a strange chip indeed!
"MRN-3545(100)" <-- 100 could indicate speed?
