Got these two chip dies that i was told to be unused 486 and 386 chip dies. Anyone got a clue on a closer match than that? Can you tell if they are DX or SX and even speed? _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. The bottom one looks used, it looks like there are some bonding wires still attached.
As for what it is I dont know you will ever be sure. There are many 486, well over 100!, so how can you tell without seeing the dies from them all? - I expect the variation between them many not be visible to the eye? |
