Hello everybody. I wonder if an intel DX20ODPR66 has any marking under a heater. Do you have any information?

not DX20DPR but DX2ODPR

Yes, exactly. We both think about the same processor. Now the type of the processor is definitely right. It is DX2ODP66 or DX2ODPR66. So, do any of you know what there is?

I suspect not all overdrive processors have markings on the ceramic, but some for sure do:



I also have DX2ODPR66 with markings.

Greetings from Poland. You wanted to know what type of processor is ? If yes that is Intel 486 UPGRADE CPU. Used to swap slower CPU by Overdrive to increase system performance.

Makes it alot easier for the poster to get an answer Very Happy

But yes, some overdrives have markings under the heatsink and some don't

Some of Intels early overdrives had NO heatsink, so markings were on the chip (both etched and silk screened)

Thanks gshv. That is what I was looking for. So, the existance of the markings is a mystery for every 486 overdrive.
