Mine have this layer too... don't know why.

6x86 have different bus speeds to work, that is not a top circumstance to define fake or not. I think it's just to sell to old 66mhz only bus systems. Intel never made cpus with more than 66 mhz over 233mhz for S7 desktops.
I don't know if there have been many fake 6x86, but seen their perfomances I doubt it was a best selling counterfeit industry. Maybe I'm wrong. |

| Hi. I think they are fine. My IBM 6x86MX also have this layer. The quality of the picture is bad but the layer is visible. |
