I checked the forum first but nothing stands out so here goes. I built a PC with a P4 3.06 Ghz for 1st time ( I normally use Celeron, but same mobo). Two problems occur: 1.) when trying to install software via CD-ROM, the OS will lock-up completely and 2.) when the computer is reset, it will freeze to the POST and display what I call "The Matrix" screen, with vertical snow lines. After shutting down for about 5 mins, then turns on fine and then can load software. But if rebooting goes right back to #2 again. Any help is appreciated.
