| Hello everybody! I think you can help me. I already know the smallest is an Inmos Transputer (T800), but what are the other 2? DX2? Supersparc? isnt the heatsink without print very uncommon? |

TMX390 reminds me somewhat like a Sparx 1 CPU, 25 or 40 MHz, maybe it was in a Sparc Station 2 or a Voyager. Let me see the pin layout of the backside.
The bottom right package looks too big for being a 486 to me?!? also here, show the pins _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

CPU-collection.de says its an sparc fpu - the 486 "mystery" remains. reminds me of metallica ....but the memory remains (are the lyrics computer-related? lol)

jepp, when the bigger chip is of 486 size the TMS is much smaller. The CPU that I meant is about 486 size.
FPU makes sense and is now prooven.
So the Inmos remains.
The -25 suffix appears normally where?
CPU/MCUs.., RAMs, (E)PROMs. _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

i have ever seen somewhat just like yours labeled with dx2-50 /dx4-100.
dx4-100 is not necessorily need a fan.
I have a dx5-133 without a fan on my mobo. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I just pulled a TMX390 from a Sparc Station 2 so you were correct! _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |
