I have an ABIT NF7-S with an Athlon XP 1700+, bought a secondhand 2600+, installed it and my computer wouldn't boot. All fans came on full blast, but wouldn't post. Did I get a dead proc? I put the old 1700 back in, cleared the CMOS, and it worked fine. Ideas?

Try with latest bios, but that would be a real fortunate event if it works.
