hi there
i got this problem with a compaq presario, i don't now how to find any manual or sspec cpu suport for this model: 5696
it seem impossible to find any manual for computer..
cos i need to now what kind of cpu i can put in it, it has a PIII 500mhz in now, but i was hopeing to get a 800mhz in it....
anybody know that?

hi
well you gotta take a look at the MB and try to find the Compaq Serial nr
or if you can see any print on the MB with the letters A,B,C
there is the Cpu Sspec for the MB
it looks like this
A,B,C
300MHZ
400MHZ
450MHZ
500MHZ
and so on
