If these chips are as rare as the seller states.
In any case ..I have scrapped thousands & thousands of 486 chips ...and have in my possession many thousands more and "none" of them are marked this way.......possible rare collectors item here.???
Why is this the third or fourth auction for these?

The_Mad won the first auction for this chip. I see he left positive feedback for the seller, which means he received the chip. I guess the seller has many chips like this, and just uses old auction description. The most important question is how many chips the saller have?

Subject : About the 486 "Internal Sample Only"
Hi there, Just for your information, I spend too much money for two of them two weeks ago. When I bought them, the seller told me these two was the only he had. Yesterday, i spoke with him. He has tons of them, more than 10. So, don't bid like crazy
BR,
Thank you,

Very good idea. I tend to believe that these are fake chips. If anyone has a friend working at Intel... ask him _________________ Frank. |
