My CT-7VJL user guide states "Socket A 200/266 FSB" does this mean I can only use a socket A at those speeds and not any socket A at a higher speed. I would like to improve the PC speed with a AMD 2500+barton CPU (333FSB) At the moment it uses an AMD socket A 1800.
Thanks |

The motherboard is designed to work with cpus of max 266 mhz fsb.
333 isn't guaranteed to start up at all and even if the cpu would work slower than rated.
Barton has to be supported. |
