Strange datecode

I scanned some cpu today and I found and interesting K6-2. The date code is 2001. How can be this? Fake or misprint? Confused
(Sorry for the quality of picture, I plan to change my Canon Lide to an CCD scanner)

The "400MHz" at the corner looks like printing not etching.
