Hi,

I have this chip that came in it`s original box.

This is what is written on box

NATO Stock No. 5962-01-069-9677

P/N 342557

Microcircuit

I can`t seem to find out what it is. Can anyone help?

further research says it is used in a TELETYPE PRINTER MODEL M-40

Way before 1978... More like 1972 or '73, I'd say. Probably a UART.
