Wow! Never seen that before! Seems very unlikely that it would be a fake. Nice find! _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

Strange....
The spec is not listed in the quick reference guide.
http://www.intel.com/design/archives/processors/pro/qit/
If the CPU is working then it would be interesting to see any CPUID strings.
edit: I also notice Q004 is not on that guide, and several collectors have that specification.

That dark patch (above the core) on the bottom looks strange, possibly from excessive heat?
The markings on the top of your cpu, in the center under the intel logo, are the markings I would expect to see on the bottom.
Note the dark colour on Cpushack's cpu.
Interesting CPU.. my only other comment is that it is the earliest date of any Qspec in that line of 200Mhz 1Meg cpus I have seen. Has anyone seen any older? |

| Lither, what is that other pentium pro cpu you have in that second picture? Is it a Q013? |

Amazing!
yes , it is Q013
how do you know it is Q013?
i got these two Pentium pro from a Taiwanese collector
i also noted the dark area on the bottom of these chips
they are quite the same , i guess it is due to heat
i will try to get a pentium pro board to test the chips but it would take a lot of time (couldnt locate a cheap PP MB right now) |

| That is a very nice qualification sample you have there. I like the unusual text. Unusual text is always sought after for collect ability. You have a winner. |
