Sammy, I'm still waiting for the K7650MTR51B C I paid for in December. You have told me more than once that you were shipping either the same day or (last time I queried you about it) as soon as you get my address. The address was originally availoable with the Paypal notification. I sent it again a little over a week ago, and although you have been in the forums (you posted a message in the News forum) you have not yet read my message. You said I could contact you via MSN - that is not possible as I am not online from home and I cannot use MSN in the library.

I have given you plenty of time to sort out the package or let me know why you couldn't.

If anyone else reading this message is able to contact Sammy through MSN or some other means, please let him know I have been trying to be reasonable, and to contact him personally. I have almost caught up on a number of long overdue payments, and do not need people that receive payments ignoring me, the money would be better spent on people who are willing to ship what they sell (and things like this means I am thinking of becoming less patient about contacting Paypal, when someone in the same country as me cannot ship goods in 4 months!!!).

Email is pointless - he should know he has messages to read, and just isn't. That's why I decided it is time to say something publicly - 4 months is long enough Smile

I'll call that number later (I always find it strange when people put their number online, but as he put it online it's his problem if it shouldn't be shown...). Thanks Smile

You could also try ringing him at this number

Tel: 023 9273 3174

Email: sales@19computing.co.uk

Seeing this from someone who was/is a moderator is a little concerning to say the least. Sad

I think he sold up, he may not be there any more.

I believe he sold the computing business last year. Although he still has contacts and stuff in Portsmouth I believe him to be living elsewhere (since purchasing a house in a different city a few months ago). The mobile number is definitely valid though Smile

Having now spoken with him on the phone (I texted him and he called back!) it seems his collection is in temporary limbo (the space he used to store/display it in was sold for developing, if I understand correctly, and as well as travelling he has been working on a new property). He did however say that the package was near him as we spoke and he would head straight to the Post Office with it...

I'll know by Saturday if contacting him by phone and giving my address again has helped Smile

I hear what you are saying Hippo - it's not always as obvious as it may seem what sort of person one is dealing with online. Sammy got well known and popular, and became a moderator within weeks (possibly 2 months?) of registering on this forum.... I could add a few comments about that but on reflection I can also speak too quickly about some issues that are best left alone Smile

The main thing as far as I'm concerned is that I am now able to contact him directly, so it may no longer be a problem. At least nobody else has had to add a problem to this thread, so it is a one-off problem for the moment (excepting the delayed deliveries from him last year, that is...). I'll post when I receive the package, so everyone can know it is conluded/resoved (I'm not keen to post this sort of thread and not announce when the other party has resolved their part in the situation...)

By the way, guys, do not post messages that may be viewed as personal attacks. Such messages were posted in the last few days in this thread and in another thread. Though these messages were posted as a joke, not everybody saw them this way. All these posts are now removed by moderators, and I want to ask moderators to continue removing offensive posts in the future.

Sorry to Debs for hijacking the thread.

No problem Genna.

I'd not seen the offensive messages so don't know what they were about - I'm happy to know that means the moderators are doing their job in keeping this a safe place for everyone (whoever and wherever they are) to talk about our common interests Smile

Just a small update. I finally received the processor today - 4 months after paying, but once I was able to contact Sammy directly it was easier to keep nudging him Smile

Could have let me know Debs!!! Very Happy

It was the only thing I had outstanding (and the only thing that has ever taken time to deliver), so I'm pleased you gave me a "nudge" and got me to go out and get in that long long long post office cue.

Sorry Sammy, but the idea of PMs is not so that people have to find your phone number or a computer from which they can use MSN. You just don't check your PMs often enough (there are still 2 PMs from me to you which my outbox says you ahve not yet read, one being dated 17 days ago), or I never would have had to post here.

The main thing is that I now have the processor, after being told more than once that it was being shipped Smile As far as I am concerned the matter has now been dealt with, and I now know how to contact you if a similar situation occurs in the future, theoretically making it an easier deal Smile

I do tend to wait a few weeks for deliveries before nudging to remind people, usually - having got myself known as a slower payer than some can deal with, I have to be patient with people as well Smile
