Question about *unstable* CPU voltage

Hi, I got a new Northwoord Intel P4 2.4 533 512K stepping D1.

When I use diagnostics programs I see the voltage is frequently moving between 1.53 (the recommended one) up to 1.6.

Is this normal? the changes are very frequent as I said.

I did no overclocking what so ever... my main board is MSI PMAM2-V
and is configured to use the bios defaults.
