| Hello everyone, got these 2 yesterday and couldnt find any info on the exact part numbers. The black one is an SPARC integer unit? which? The other some super sparc or cache controller? Who has any data? |

The right one is a processor - I have some of these on Sparc CPU boards. The left one is probably a CPU too, but I don't know for sure.

The left one is, like name says, SPARC V7 Integer Unit
The right one is a SuperCache chip (external L2 cache for SuperSPARC processor.

Surprise-surprise: I`ve a LSI 'S1C0032' Integer Unit with the same
P/N: 100-2671-01 in my Sparcstation 1+
It seems there are a lot of different IU`s around in
the Sun SPARCstations 1, 1+ and 2.... maybe because
there are existing a lot of different early SPARCstation-models.
Probably LSI always gave a completely new LSI-number
also if there were only made minor modifications to the IUs....
