| I have a M7VIG pro MOBO that I recently bought a CPU (AXDA2600DKV3C) for on Ebay and it looks to be the right CPU but you never know I guess. The thing is that when I go to my computer properties it shows me that the CPU is a athlon XP 1900 and is running at 1.6 GHZ I want to make sure it is not something with my configuration before I send this unit back. Someone please help visually it looks to be the right CPU. What else can I do or is this in fact the wrong CPU disguised as a 2600 HELP HELP HELP. If its in the wrong thread please move or let me know so I can post it else where. |

Looks like your processor runs at 100 MHz FSB. Go into BIOS and try to manually set FSB to 133 MHz.

Thank you so much I changed the freq for the CPU from default to whatever it was that was the max for my selections and then rebooted after rebooting I checked to see what I had for selections and they changed as far as what freq I could set the CPU at I left it on default and after I rebooted it registered correctly. |
