I have e Pentium I that has a black heat sink glued on it.
And on the other side are the following markings

25010550NB
MALAY 511 ES
INTEL 92 93

A80502-90
SX968

Is this a ES because its marked Malay 511 ES or that ES means somthing else?

THANKS

The SX968 sspec means it is not an ES chip. This would have to start with a Q not an S.

No, it is not a ES. This is a rather common question, i have asked it my self. Wink

See these threads, specially the last one with some examples of real ES:es.

It's not engineering sample. ES on the back of the chip means something else.
