| Hi, I'm trying to upgrade this system that I've got here and it has a P4 2.4. I want to know what kind of processors I could upgrade to. The one that's in there says this on it: 2.4/512/533/1.525v. My big concern is if I can upgrade to a processor with an 800 FSB? I don't know what the mobo is (it's a custom built system that one of my friends gave to me and he doesn't know much about it). Thanks for your time. |

It's not possible to tell what processor you can upgrade to if motherboard model is unknown. My speculation is that you may be able upgrade to Pentium 4 3.06GHz (RK80532PE083512/BX80532PE3066D).

| Download a nifty little utility called CPU-Z it should be able to tell you what your mainboard is and from that you'll be able to find out wht upgrades your processor can take. (or post the details here and one of us should be able to help) |
