I don't know about the second bidder, but the winner always knows what he's doing. He already has C8008/C8008-1, and I'm sure have spares of them as well. If he was bidding $250 on this processor it means there was something special about it.

Maybe he had a valuable order for a big 8008 frame and was in an urgent need for a nice shaped sample?
