Hi, I have a question on possible cpu replacement on my old rig (Asrock k7vt4a+). I have a chance to get AXDA2700DKV3D, however it is not listed on the asrock cpu support list - only the Barton core version (AXDA2700DKV4D) is there. My question is.. will Thoroughbred version also work ?

| Barton core was the last core available for Athlon XP processor, if Barton is supported also Thoroughbred and Thorton processor are supported. |

I agree - if Athlon XP 2700+ Barton works then 2700+ Thoroughbred should work as well. Besides, Thoroughbred Semprons are supported, which means that Thoroughbred Athlon XPs should be supported too.
