| I have an Athlon XP 2000+ which has a 266 MHz bus speed. My mobo is an ECS KT600-A which supports 400/333/266/200 FSB. This may be a dumb question. Can I use memory that is higher than 266 MHz? Can I gain any program speed doing that? |

| I believe you can use up to ddr400, it will automatically run at the lower speeds youre Cpu supports. The only benifit it will probly give you is some headroom to o/c. But you may also be able to run it a tighter ram settings and gain some additional speed. |
