Would a Z8 Z0868108PSC with a date code of 1987 work ok when used as a replacement for the same chip with a date code of 1990?

Thanks

It should work ok as long as the part number (Z0868108PSC) is the same.

Yup, you'll be fine.

Timings will be the same (have to be for it to pass validation)

Thanks a lot. I've already swapped a defective 1993 D/C with the afore mentioned 1990 and there were no problems. The only availability I have at this time is 1987 D/C. Just wasn't sure.

Thanks again,
Eric
