HI, I just purchased a new computer(q6600,P5k-E,2GB 800Ram,320GB HDD,Vista Premium.
When I try to shutdown the cpu the screen goes blank but the cpu stays running(forcing me to pull the plug which I hate doing).
Can anyone tell me what could be causing this as it used to happen with my old cpu also. THANKYOU.

Vista?

Try to set some parameters in power management, maybe the power off isn't in. I doubt it, but that's my first guess, coffee still hasn't kicked in...
