Hi
the first low-cost laptop finally in sale
asus began to sell the EEEPC ( something like OLPC) yesterday (10-16)here (Taiwan).
200 USD for a 0.92kg , 7'LCD, wireless internet access , celeron M , and linux based laptop (but you could install window XP yourself )
