A while back when digging thorough old computers at my favorite scrapyard I came across a rack mount server case that some fool discarded. I bought it for 20 cents a pound. Amazingly the thing weighs almost 300 lbs Shocked . Since than I have been kicking around the idea of getting rid of my desk space sapping tower and putting my gaming system in rack. A few weeks ago I finally found an ATX case I deemed worthy and purchased it for $5.00. Although I did mod it a little so it has a cold cathode light and a clear panel in the top. The mods actually cost more than the case. Behold my new toy. It's best attribute is that all the air that enters the case is filtered through a disposable filter medium. No more blowing out my case with compressed air for me.

I have never been envious of anyone's home office space until now Smile That rack is awesome! I have contemplated the same thing, I have 3 PC's I use at home on a regular basis and have wanted to rack them but had never thought about a small rack like that. Very nice!!!

It looks like a small fridge just put some beer in there and youre good to go. I might take the case off the actual rig thats inside the server case and let people see the internals of the thing, since you have filtered air coming in the dust wouldnt be any problem.
