|
|
found a Via C3 700MHz (Samuel II, 100MHz FSB 1.6Volt) in a Thinclient. Fully working, but not listed on the homepage.
also.. i bought a Via C3 866MHz (Samuel II (?) ; 133MHz FSB, 1.35Volt!) on ebay... arrived today...
weird thing: front looks like a usual C3, but the back has an ES marking and a missing speed marking (like: 700MHz (100X7.0))
also it doesn't look like the engineering samples shown on cpu-world
i guess the seller had no clue that it's an engineering sample
Pics:
Sorry for the fish-eye effect on the last pic. had to hold a lens between my (mobile phone) camera and the CPU. without the lens the autofocus just won't focus at all...
BTW: i noticed the bent pin on the C3 866 after a closer look at the picture.... didnt notice it as i looked at the CPU itself *doh*
-> not tested if it works yet but i just hope it does |

BTW: those "links" in the post above are case sensitive.. e.g. "cpu-world" is not the same as "CPU-World" |

yes, this C3-866 is ES version.
but not every C3 that has no frequency marking on back is ES. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com
